Mauvaise Foi plot
Ishmael and Clara are happy together. Ishmael, a music teacher, takes life as it comes. He abhors thinking ahead and making decisions. Clara works in a medical center. She has a strong character and can't stand others telling her what to do. One day Clara discovers that she is pregnant. It is the most beautiful thing that could have happened to them, but also the most difficult... They are forced to make their relationship official. Ishmael soon realizes that it is a bitter pill to swallow for his Muslim family. And Clara unexpectedly gets the lid on the nose. She who thought her Jewish parents were young and modern in spirit must find that they are anything but ready to accept an Arab son-in-law...
