"Thar She Blows!"
Capt. Bering Joy is the experienced captain of a ship in the 19th century. His great loves are the sea, the knowledge of his trade and his grandson Jed who also lives on board. However, Jed's school performance is well below par and Capt. Bering decides to entrust his new commander Lunceford, who initially dislikes him, but who has a higher education, the task of teaching the boy. The result is a generational conflict.
