"Everybody has that one relative who can't help but cause problems over the holidays. Even Santa."
Sure, everyone knows Santa Claus (Paul Giamatti), but no one knows his bitter older brother Fred (Vince Vaughn). The two brothers are polar opposites and the fact that his younger brother is so loved is a thorn in the side of Fred. A big problem arises when Fred is forced to move to the North Pole as well.

I thought this was a great Christmas movie where everything really radiates Christmas.
I think a lot of money was spent, because the setting and decoration was beautiful.
The script was also quite original. In addition, a cast to beat you and you can speak of a future classic as far as I'm concerned.
A smile and a tear, never boring and a good start and tail. I can broadcast this every year. Top!

Vaughn's performance varies from film to film. In one film I like his smooth chatter more than in the other.

Takes a long time to get going, the scenes in the sled are the best and I think they could have done more with that.
The film is worth watching because of a number of nice scenes and because of the decoration of the Christmas village, but the whole story around Fred is not captivating enough, in my opinion this could have been shortened a bit more and the film had 90 minutes had more than enough.
It's not a bad film with many familiar faces, but a little more variety and a little more speed between the (fun) scenes would have been welcome.
