“Root canal? That's not fair, they're not my teeth.”

Quite fun. Mother and daughter end up in each other's bodies and that naturally results in many humorous situations and situations that you do not want to end up in as a mother and as a daughter. Curtis and Lohan have the most fun and keep the film very entertaining. Lohan shows what a talented actress she once was and Curtis is always good.

It's also funny to see iron eater Harmon in this kind of role. The school and work situations Tess and Anna find themselves in make for some amusing scenes, especially an interview of Tess (Curtis is great) on a local TV show is a highlight. You'll forget the side characters in no time, but they fulfill their role well. Freaky Friday is a sympathetic film with a Lohan that you hope will one day shine as she does in this film. Eternal sin.

funny.

Not a brilliant but entertaining film that energetically resurrects a rehashed concept from the dead. The film does not really have much more in terms of ambition, it is mainly intended to cheer you up on a cold or sad day. Or just to have a nice evening with company, as in my case.

This film has to suffer from the acting, because without enthusiasm and energy, of course, no film like Freaky Friday. Fortunately, that is one of the stronger points in the film. Curtis in particular stands out in a wonderfully energetic and almost self-mocking role that keeps you captivated without any effort. You have to appreciate her energy a bit, but once you can, you're in for a nice performance.

Lohan is less motivated and falls into a more monotonous role, but in the end she stands her ground. I doubt the morals around her. Just think about that boyfriend being forgiven after he fell in love with her mom. I get why they did it, but it's kind of weird. Furthermore, enough enjoyable scenes to see in a film that lacks some originality but does not lack pace.

Busy, energetic and enthusiastic, these are three concepts that come to mind in this somewhat easy and predictable film, which nevertheless does what it is supposed to do. For a Disney movie, it basically brings what you can expect and it doesn't have a really unique element, but it does have a lot of entertainment of the sort that you have to love. I can still appreciate it.
