"The heart is a lonely hunter..."
Police inspector Hei experiences the misery of the big city every day. When his father-in-law and billionaire Chau is gruesomely murdered, he enlists the help of his former partner, now private investigator, Bong. It soon becomes apparent that the murder has all the signs of the perfect crime: every detail set to perfection, justifying every motive and eliminating every possible witness. But Bong, who is not so psychologically stable after his girlfriend's suicide, plunges deeper and deeper into the case.
