“I wake up and he's dead. I wake up and he's alive.”

In the end, a more than fine film. At the beginning of Premonition I still had my doubts about how long the story would remain interesting, but luckily there was no need for that. Sandra Bullock is on a roll, and it's always fun when both the viewer and the main characters have no idea what's going on. Not everything works, and a certain subplot (guy cheating) feels a bit unimaginative. But otherwise, Premonition is a movie you want to keep watching to see how it ends. And that is commendable to the director and the actors.

Initially a fascinating film, until you realize what it is all about. Then the whole thing collapses like a pudding. 'Playing with time is playing with fire' I read somewhere in a review, and that's just how it is.

Nice starting point and well played, but if an explanation is needed for this form of time travel (or rather this experience of "time disruption"), then rather not via these moralistic advice from a priest. A plus is that the ending is not a traditional happy ending, and that came in quite unexpectedly ). It all looks well taken care of, and Sandra Bullock does a fine job, but the way the "gimmick" is played out puts a bit of a damper on me.
