The Color of Evening plot

Max has been trying to create the perfect work of art for more than 40 years, but still has nothing to this day. Meanwhile, he teaches young artists in Kate's garage. Then he meets Halys, a young, attractive woman. He starts painting her and thinks it will finally happen. Yet he is left dissatisfied again when the painting is finished.
