Oh, Wie Schön Ist Panama plot

A little Tiger and a Bear live together on an idyllic piece of earth. They have a small house, a garden and nearby there is a river. One does not need more. Sometimes the friends launch their boats and float quietly on the river, on other occasions they collect mushrooms for dinner. Tiger collects and bear cooks. One day a chest washes ashore on the riverbank that smells very tempting. It is a chest from Panama whose scents simply enchant the two friends. They realize that where this chest comes from, there are more such wonderful smells and flavors. So why not just search for it? Tiger and Bear get ready for their long trip to Panama. On the way they meet Mallorca the donkey, an experienced traveler. He tells them of all his distant travels, yet he can't tell the two friends where Panama is, let alone how to get there.
