Around 1800, a baron lives in a mysterious castle, nicknamed 'The Devil's Castle'. An obsessed lover of operas, he has set up a burial vault in the castle's catacombs where the body of his favorite diva lies. To keep curious visitors away, his house servant concocts all sorts of spooky things to give the castle an eerie atmosphere.
