When a smallpox epidemic breaks out in a village besieged by rebels, it's up to Jan and Cor to pick up a serum in town. However, the city is precariously surrounded by the rebels. The boys steal an old car and, along with a sister they pick up on the way, try to escape the rebels and invade the city.
