"It's a Put-On! It's a Take-Off! It's FUN!!"
Guerrando da Montone (Tony Curtis) is knighted just before the period of the Crusades. He is given a castle and lands, as well as the right to collect taxes and choose from all the fair maidens in the region. His eye falls on Boccadoro (Monica Vitti) and the two get married. During the wedding night, however, they are cruelly disturbed, because Guerrando has to go on a crusade. As a result, they are unable to consummate their marriage and Boccadoro has to wait for her husband to return... with the key to her chastity belt.
