Tip on a Dead Jockey plot
Lloyd Tredman (Robert Taylor) served in the United States Air Force during World War II. He is plagued with guilt over the deaths of several comrades during the war. After losing all his money gambling on horse races, he is persuaded to participate in a money-smuggling operation. But then it turns out that the leader of the operation, Bert Smith (Martin Gabel), is not just smuggling money.
