The Canary Murder Case plot
"Who killed the most beautiful woman on Broadway?"
Margaret Odell (Louise Brooks) is a beautiful nightclub singer, nicknamed "the Canary", who is found murdered. Several people are suspected. They all knew her and came into contact with her blackmail practices, so that all had a motive to kill her. However, the question for Philo Vance (William Powell) is who the real culprit is.
