A gang primarily engaged in stealing wild horses for resale steals Roy Rogers' horse, Trigger. The gang offers Roy to return Trigger unharmed for a $100,000 ransom. Roy Rogers suspects that his friend Ted Conover may have helped with the kidnapping.
