The Keeper: The Legend of Omar Khayyam plot

In the tradition of the Middle East, stories within the family are honored and passed on from generation to generation. When 12-year-old Kamran's brother is dying, he tells him the story of Omar Khayyam, an 11th-century Persian astronomer and mathematician, who is best known for his four-line poems. Before his mind's eye, Kamran sees what is happening, but his brother dies before the story ends. Curious about the outcome, Kamran travels to his grandfather in Iran, who can also explain to him why this story is being told more and more.
