Atentat u Sarajevu plot
The drama surrounding the attempt on the life of the Habsburg Archduke Franz Ferdinand. On June 28, 1914, the future Emperor of Austria-Hungary is assassinated in Sarajevo. The original plan for the attack went awry, as the Imperial chariot took a different route for safety. Ironically, their paths crossed on the way to the killer's workshop. A few meters from it, Gavrilo Princip murdered the future monarch. The aftermath of this drama resulted in the First World War.
