The Godsend plot

"If Bonnie is a gift from Heaven...for God's sake take her back..!"

Kate Marlowe (Cyd Hayman) and Alan Marlowe (Malcolm Stoddard) live in the English countryside with their 4 children and are quite surprised when a pregnant woman shows up. They take her into the family, but shortly after the birth of a girl, she disappears without a trace. They raise the baby as their own child. But when one of their own children dies in a strange way, they wonder who that girl really is.
