Joe and Mary have lived together in Manhattan for 6 years. Joe is an actor, who has no agent and no credits, but who is very ambitious. He works as a server in a cafe. Mary works as a makeup stylist for a popular fashion magazine and pays most of the bills. But then Joe can finally land a part in the new Madonna music video.
