"The hell-bent, jazz-crazed era and the man who ruled it all!"
This film tells the story of the flowery mobster, gambler and bootlegger Arnold Rothstein, at the time of Prohibition in America. Through his scams, Rothstein gets rich quickly and establishes his name among the existing big gangster bosses. He falls in love and marries, but gradually becomes stiffer and tougher, so that in the end even his best friends are rejected.
