Jacquou le Croquant plot
Jacqou is a young farmer's son of 9 years old, who lives in Périgord in 1815. By the frenzied whims of a cruel nobleman, he is deprived of his parents and becomes an orphan. He has to fight to survive and is going through a rough time. With the idea of taking revenge, Jacquou tries to rebuild a normal life. Thanks to some friends and a young patient girl, in a few years he will grow into a young confident and attractive man. He will be able to turn his desires from revenge into a fight against injustice.
