Juste une Question d'Amour plot
Laurent attends agricultural college and shares an apartment with Carole. His parents think they are in a relationship and that works out well for Laurent, as it allows him to hide his homosexuality, something his parents detest. When he does an internship with Cédric, the flame quickly spreads between the two. At all costs, Laurent wants to stay safe "in the closet", while Cédric is for openness. Then Cédric's mother interferes, with all the consequences that entails.
