Yeah. The 00's deserve more credits in my opinion. This is ultimately cheesy, with the silliest one-liners (Lamas rising from the blood of crushed spiders: ''Am I bugging you?!''), busty vampires, alien worms coming out of their nipples[/spoiler ] burst and how can you even talk about this film without talking about the fall from the balcony? That was an... interesting bit of editing. I really like club scenes from this era; the terribly bad fashion, the music, the whole idea of what was cool at the time... it's something that hasn't stood the test of time at all and is all the more entertaining for it. Surprisingly nice pulp.

Thralls is pulp entertainment that unfortunately came out at a time when computer animations were apparently very hip, but today they look extremely cheap and unfinished. Fortunately, director Ron Oliver and screenwriters Lisa Morton and Brett Thompson hardly take the content seriously, which makes for an entertaining horror ride. It is advantageous that the event takes place in a single location and the highly caricatured characters actually manage to catch on, which increases the pace. Of the ladies, it is only Leah Cairns who performs well, the antagonist is a bit more fun. Not because Lorenzo Lamas is such an exceptionally good actor, but because his character clearly gets the most space to stand out. The visual content is also very ugly and the B-final is really too idiotic for words, but the setting as well as some of the roles lend themselves to relatively easy, not very high-quality entertainment.
