Subarnarekha plot
Sita comes from a middle class family from East Bengal, but since the independence war, she lives in a refugee camp. She lives there with her older brother Ishwar, who raised her, because their parents were killed. Ishwar has also taken the lower caste boy Abhiram into their home. The three of them move to the countryside of Bengal where Ishwar finds a job. But when Sita falls in love with Abhiram, trouble arises.
