Mrs. O'Malley and Mr. Malone plot

"they'll tickle the nation's funny bone!"

Attorney John J. Malone is after his client, Steve Kepplar. Kepplar has withheld the truth and has not yet paid Malone's fee. When Kepplar hops on the train to Chicago, Malone follows him along with Kepplar's ex-wife, a homicide detective, and Mrs. Harriet "Hattie" O'Malley, a radio contest winner. When Kepplar is killed, the real trouble begins, and Malone and Hattie must search for the culprit.
