What Do Men Want? plot

Men don't really know what they want. First, Frank (J. Frank Glendon) wants to be an inventor. He also wants to marry his childhood sweetheart Hallie (Claire Windsor), and besides that he also wants children. But when an invention brings him financial success, he loses track and starts dating another woman. After discovering that this woman's reputation is not unblemished, he wants to return to Hallie. But then he sees Yost, a former admirer of Hallie's, entering her house and knows it's too late now. Or not?
