"Romance of a glorious girl who betrayed her faith-but could not deceive her love!"
After Florence Fallon's (Barbara Stanwyck) father is fired from the church where he preached for many years, she bitterly gives up her faith. She joins Bob Hornsby (Sam Hardy), a trickster who heals people for money through miracles. Hired 'sick' people are supposedly cured, knocking the money out of the pockets of the really sick spectators. However, through the faith and trust of a blind man whom she comes to know, she regains her faith in God and fellow man.
