"On October 16, 1996, the one year anniversary of the Million Man March, Spike Lee invites you to lift your head, raise your voice, and...get on the bus."
They don't know each other, but they are all on their way to the Million Man March, which aims to bring fraternization among the people of color. There is an actor who is full of hatred, a policeman who wants to see an end to the violence in the street, a father who is tangled with his son and a Muslim with a gray past. Before they can start the march, however, the bus driver will have to take them to the other side of America, and thus they get to know each other.
