The White Tower plot
"Every gasping thrill in color by Technicolor!"
A group of climbers of different nationalities attempt to conquer the infamous Weisshorn mountain. Everyone has his or her own reasons for participating. First of all, there is Carla (Valli), who wants to take revenge on the mountain, because her father died there. She brings along, among others, the American pilot Martin (Ford), who has a crush on her, and the French author Paul (Rains), who is looking for a purpose in life. Along the way, secrets and emotions surface.
