La Cage aux Rossignols plot
The young writer Clément Mathieu is an invigilator at a boarding school for young offenders in Eaubonne-sur-Loire. He wants to approach the youngsters in a different, less traditional way and teaches them the principles of music. He writes down his experiences in a novel. One day he gets to know Martine. She is the niece of one of his students. Clément falls hopelessly in love with her.
