Weak and totally unnecessary remake of the very witty French comedy Un Éléphant Ça Trompe Énormément (1976). Film owes its fame mainly to the sexy Kelly LeBrock, but we hardly heard of her after her next film (Weird Science). And there isn't much left of that sexy either.

Enjoyable movie and Gene Wilder has the guts to play such a role.
Pleasant, as said, but not at the level of the French version "Un Eléphant ça trompe enormément" with a beautiful Jean Rochefort, high on the "Etoiles" and where the contacts with the friends of the main character are more fun.

A nice idea, the plot mainly reminded me of the film 10 with Dudley Moore from 79, but in the case of that film I thought the plot was worked out a lot more creatively.
A film that doesn't even touch the hour and a half, but unfortunately has some duller moments, for example I thought that Kelly LeBrock should have had more screen time because the scenes with her were the most interesting for me anyway.
Gene Wilder also plays his part quite nicely and a number of jokes were certainly successful, but at the same time I had the strong idea that with a plot like this more could be done.
Due to the short running time and the joy of playing of Gene Wilder, the film is certainly not an unpleasant sit, also the appearance of Kelly LeBrock was not a punishment, but unfortunately it remains somewhat meager.
