Carrie's War plot

"A magical journey during WWII"

Carrie and her brother Nick are evacuated from London during the war and sent to a village in Wales. There they end up with the nice Lou and her brother Mr. Evans, who has renounced all luxury. His other sister Mrs. Gotobed has a very different philosophy of life.
