dr. Steve Kells (Roy Rogers) is on the most-wanted list in New York. He flees west to an area controlled by a gang called "The Border Legion". When the gang leader is injured, Kells is kidnapped and forced to remove the bullet from the leader. Kells is forced to join the gang.
