Blind Date plot
Painter Jan Van Rooyer has a relationship with the elegant Frenchwoman Jacqueline Cousteau. He has an appointment with her, but when he arrives, he finds Inspector Morgan there. He immediately accuses him of murdering Jacqueline. Morgan listens very skeptically to the confused story about their relationship. During his investigation, it also appears that Jacqueline was being maintained by Sir Howard Fenton, a high-ranking diplomat whose name must absolutely be kept out of the investigation.
