Doing Hard Time plot
Michael Mitchell's 7-year-old son is shot dead during a botched drug deal. The two gunmen are arrested, but there is no evidence that either of them fired the fatal shot, leaving them with a relatively small sentence. Michael, who just before lost his wife to cancer, cannot live with this injustice. He devises a plan, for which he must first end up in the same prison as the two criminals.
