Two years after Sandokan is evicted from Mompracem and Marianne's death, he lives a secluded life on an island. James Brooke rules Mopracem with a heavy hand. When a young woman begs to help, Sandokan and his friend Yanez go to war. When Yanez is captured, Sandokan tries to rescue him with the help of the farmers and fishermen and recapture Mompracem.
