The bad boy Sparke Thornton has to live with his aunt and uncle in Indiana. Sparke isn't at all happy with this arrangement, but his love for horses and his affection for a young foal he's training to be a thoroughbred racehorse make life in Indiana bearable for him. Sparke's stay is brightened up by the presence of Char, a girl who works at Mr. Boole's ranch. The two fall in love and Sparke blossoms...
