Sengoku Burai plot

Soldiers Hayatenosuke Sasa and Kagami Yaheiji leave their castle for a mission that involves entering an enemy camp. Hayatenosuke leaves behind his lover, Kano, but when, after being injured, he is cared for by Oryo, she falls in love with him. However, Hayatenosuke accidentally kills her father and flees, after which Kagami falls in love with Oryo. Kano, in turn, thinks Hayatenosuke has been killed and begins a romance with Private Jurota.
