Peloton 731's "main mission" is to lead research into deadly disease and biological warfare, conducting various experiments on human subjects. But what is the point of autopsies on living, healthy people? Or torture such as cutting someone's forearms to smithereens? A tedious and exceptionally dull third installment in this notorious series, which unfortunately makes it painfully clear why parts 1 & 4 are considered the most noteworthy. The film is exceptionally lifeless, impossibly poorly acted, and essentially uninteresting. Only a few sudden mass executions make a certain impression, but these are obviously cheap excuses to meet the usual expectations. Director Godfrey Ho hasn't made much of an impression so far, but that will surely come as no surprise to him.
