Ridiculous sequel that single-handedly manages to raise the term "Cheap scoring" to a higher level. Director Godfrey Ho comes up with a lame excuse to continue the controversial predecessor into a second chapter, which then brings little to nothing. A number of horrors are of course noticeable and the finale is very bombastic, but the effects are below all standards and the acting seems to have been done with reluctance. It all really makes no sense at all, but to my great surprise the makers seem to take it extremely seriously. In terms of both content and visuals, Men Behind the Sun II is a big circus and would have been completely forgotten if its predecessor had not been so daring.
