"Escaped convicts disguised as priests. It'll take a miracle to get away with this one."
Ned and Jim had no intention of escaping prison. Circumstances, however, force them to take part in an escape. With the police on their tail, they find themselves in a small New England town known for its miracles. A miracle could be of great use to both crooks if they want to get out of the arms of the law and stay alive. The townspeople think Ned and Jim are lost priests. The perfect cover, provided they don't fall out of place. Ned and Jim join in the game while trying in vain to cross the Canadian border. After all, they are still sought after.

Jordan the strange bird.
Because he is at the very least erratic.
As well as the plot of this movie. The humor is secondary to the actors. Fortunately, the entire film is carried by Penn and DeNiro and the chemistry between them. A little too many negatives prohibit a full pass, but it is entertaining and entertaining.

Mediocre film in which two escaped prisoners pose as priests in order to cross the border. A fine and fairly adventurous opening and the finale is also nice. In between it all sinks in quickly, simply because it is rather boring. Nice location and decors. Not exactly the best movie for Robert DeNiro and Sean Penn.
