Prince of Central Park plot

12-year-old JJ Somerled is placed with a foster mother who only offers him shelter for the money she receives from the government. After a series of humiliations, he flees to Central Park. In exchange for his keyboard music, JJ receives shelter and protection from a strange man known in the park as 'The Guardian'.
