"THEY BREED. THEY HATCH. THEY KILL. Maybe it's just a phase they're going through."
A gardener becomes infected by a plant-like insect larva, which he vomits after arriving at the hospital. The regurgitated insect baby receives a dose of growth hormones and it therefore grows enormously. Scientists, police and hospital staff try to kill the monster by means of experimental laser equipment in the hospital, including in the ventilation corridors there.
