Herr Lehmann plot
"Bis denn, dann..."
It is the summer of 1989. Within a few months Frank Lehmann will be thirty, which does not make him happy. As if that wasn't enough, his parents inform him that they are planning to pay him a visit. Frank has convinced them that he runs a restaurant, when in fact he is just a bartender in an artists' bar and the announced visit therefore quite confused him. The pub is located in the Kreuzberg district, a district in the west of Berlin that is populated by all those who do not want or cannot accept reality.
