Broken Circle plot

Broken Circle is a search for the life and work of Wies Smals (1939-1983), who introduced performance as a new form of art in her Amsterdam gallery De Appel. The life of Wies Smals reveals itself through the eyes of Nusch, who accidentally comes into contact with her. Nusch is increasingly fascinated by this artist. Through loves, friends and artists of the time, such as Abramovic, Ulay, Palestine and Rosenbach, Nusch becomes more and more entangled in the life of Wies Smals.
