The difficult adjustment of Surinamese professional football players on the Dutch fields and their eventual breakthrough to the top. Simply good does not seem good enough for Surinamese professional football players in the Dutch Eredivisie at the end of the fifties. As a colored footballer you had to be not only good, but even better than a good Dutch footballer to reach the top.
