"In the heat of desire, love can turn to deception. Nothing is what it seems when day turns into night."
When he accidentally leads a patient to suicide, psychologist Bill Capa gives up his practice. To come to terms with himself, he visits an old colleague, Bob Moore, who is subsequently murdered. The search for the killer leads Capa to some of Moore's psychologically confused patients. Equally important, however, is the relationship that develops between Capa and the mysterious Rose.

There was a lot of fuss about this film at the time because Bruce Willis swam naked in the pool and you saw his Willie. The film was also slated at the time, but I thought it was quite a nice thriller that was even regularly fascinating. The eroticism in this film is not much and you should not expect much from it. Bruce Willis played well and Jane March was a beautiful appearance.

Psychologist Willis's already suicidal client receives a slightly too rough treatment from him and commits suicide before his eyes. As a result, Willis has developed a selective color blindness for the color red.
As a result, Willis goes to a psychologist friend in Los Angeles for treatment. This psychologist friend is murdered. Police officer Blades thinks the killer is from that group. Willis takes over the treatment of the group to also work as an amateur detective en passant.
The film was released at a time when films like Basic Instinct were popular. That is very noticeable in this film. The erotic scenes are quite explicit, long and unnecessary, but not much.
Hitchcock was the inspiration for the story. Think of the films Vertigo and Psycho. Unfortunately not on the same level. In fact, the story actually makes no sense at all. The characters don't make any sense either.
To bring the story of the film to a good end, there are plot twists that you cannot justify with all the best intentions. It's a shame, because the actors are doing their best. The directing, on the other hand, is really lousy.
Nevertheless, I had a lot of fun with this movie. It's far from a good movie, but I was curious how the movie would end. The ending makes no sense at all. It comes across as very artificial.
