"Justice can never be silenced."
1873. After the death of his wife, Talbot Roe is devastated with grief. He awaits death under a bomb with his wife's corpse next to him. Because of this, he is haunted by her ghost. Meanwhile, his father tries to buy Talbot's wife's sister, Velada, from the owner of a traveling circus. He thinks she might be able to save Talbot, but Veleda's stepbrother is making it very difficult for him.
