Mediocre film, with a pretty annoying Hugh Grant.

Grant has never been my favorite actor and this kind of movie shows once again why that is the case. He's squeaking a lot and is just really irritating here. Fortunately, the rest of the cast is okay. Goldblum in particular is doing well and is sometimes funny. Also Juliane Moore and Joan Cusack are both doing well. Robin William and Tom Arnold are a bit less.

In terms of content, it doesn't mean much at all. Typical talk about the pros and cons of having children, where everyone takes a certain point of view. Sometimes funny, sometimes irritating, but in the end not very good overall.

Hopelessly dated.

Laughed a few times at Robin Williams, although he puts down one of his worst characters ever and the slips of the tongue are soon more of the same.

The rest of the film revolves around Hugh Grant again playing the only type he can do: the somewhat arrogant charmer. This time it features a flower pot haircut that will make you cry. Unfortunately, his goofy haircut is about the best part of Grant's role. Although I find him a limited actor, I usually find him funny, but apparently he couldn't do anything with this role.

The story is predictable but that's not a bad thing with these films, unfortunately there are all kinds of annoying characters in the script that are annoying and / or terribly overacting.

This movie struck me how long 1995 has already been. For some reason, Die Hard With a Vengeance, from the same year, seems 10 years newer. The clothing style, the haircuts, the interiors, it's all really awful.

Mediocre film about a man who is not immediately happy when he hears that his girlfriend is pregnant. A rather clichéd comedy in which the humor is often quite forced and chaotish. The latter also applies to the role of Hugh Grant. The two scenes with Robin Williams are the best. Not really annoying, but 3.0 stars would be just too much.
