Haruka Naru Yama no Yobigoe plot
"A man, a woman, and her son – three lives thrown together on a stormy night."
On Hokkaido, widow Tamiko Kazami runs a remote cattle ranch. She also lives there with her son Takeshi. Maintaining livestock is tough for Tamiko and not very profitable, so when one spring day a mysterious stranger asks Tamiko to work there in exchange for shelter and food, the pressure on her shoulders eases somewhat. The bond between the stranger and Tamiko grows closer over time, but when the stranger is suddenly confronted with his past, he threatens to leave the livestock farm, much to Tamiko's chagrin.
