A Los Que Aman plot
Sometime in the 18th century, "El maestro" is called to a sick woman's house. It is about Matilde's niece, the love of his life. In flashbacks we see how he met Matilde as a child and their impossible love years later. Matilde is unhappily married to a Frenchman who is having an affair with the sultry Valeria. "El maestro" seems to be the salvation for Matilde, but the resulting love triangle leads to a tragic ending.
